I saw a graphic about Agatha Christie on the class Twitter feed and I wanted to learn more about her as I have just watched Murder on the Orient Express. One thing I did not know about Agatha Christie is that she is the best selling author of all time. Another interesting fact is that during WW2 she was investigated for giving a character that is a code breaker the last name Bletchley, which was the park where secret agents were working to break the Nazi code. It was just a coincidence though.

Bletchley Park was the headquarters for code breakers working to break the Nazi Enigma code during WW2. The buildings there combine a lot of different architecture styles like Dutch baroque, Gothic and Tudor. I did not really know what Dutch Baroque meant, despite hearing about it before, so I wanted to look into it.

Dutch Baroque is a style of architecture. It was extremely popular in the Dutch Republic and its colonies during the Dutch Golden Age, which was in the 17th century. In the colonies, most of the architecture is gone, but it came be seen in the capital of Curacao, Willemstad, though the buildings have been painted.

Willemstad is the capital of Curacao. It is located in the Caribbean and was once a Dutch colony. It is also home to the oldest remaining synagogue in the Americas.
