Learning Challenge: Happiness Jar Results

Last week for a learning challenge I decided to start a "happiness jar" by writing down things in my agenda that are positive in my life. It is easy to look back on the bad things that are going on in our lives as we lay down in bed, so this was a chance to rethink that. Here are my positive moments from the past week!

January 24th- Today I was disappointed because I had plans to meet my mom for lunch and they fell through, but the day did turn around. I watched a new show with my roommates, called Waco, that we all really liked. I think we will continue to watch it!

January 25th- I have no classes on Thursdays, so I spent the majority of the day cleaning up my room and doing laundry. A clean house always puts me in a better mood! I also got to sleep in, so that is a bonus.

January 26th- This was a really great day! My friend and I went to an interactive art exhibit in Oklahoma City, had dinner at an amazing Korean chicken and beer place, then went to see the Florida Project at the art museum. The cinematography was beautiful and we had a really fun day.

January 27th- My friend and I had a really lazy day today and it was just what we needed! We ended up watching 4 movies in one day! We watched Miss Stevens, Strong Island, Battle of the Sexes and then we went to the Moore Warren to see Phantom Thread. The movie was very suspenseful and was the last movie I needed to see to see them all in the Best Picture category for the Oscars. The movie was in the recliners too so that was a positive!

January 28th- I had to go to work today, but I was really happy because a coworker who I love to work with had been sick and they returned today feeling better.

January 29th- I got a really funny card in the mail from my mom today and I am going home Wednesday to see family!
