Learning Challenge: Powers of Time

For this learning challenge I watched a video called The Secret Powers of Time. The speaker talks about the 6 ways people can experience time. Two on the past (past positive, past negative), two on the present (present hedonistic, fated present) and two future oriented (positive,negative). I had never heard about this before so I found this really interesting. In the video it also talked out how the current education system is not working out for children in America. Something I was not aware of is the fact that in every 9 seconds, a child drops out of school in the United States and that it is more common for boys and minorities. I did the math and that is 777,600 students dropping out of school a day! I was honestly shocked by that. I would have never guessed the number would be so high.
