Famous Last Words: It's Finally February!

It is FINALLY February! For some reason, it felt like January 2018 lasted six months. Maybe it was starting school again, or the post holiday blues, but whatever it was, I know I wasn't alone. Lots of my friends agreed that it seemed like January dragged on forever! Despite feeling like the longest month, I had a wonderful first month of the year in my classes and my personal life.

As far as this class goes, as of today I am 60% of the way to an A! I am looking forward to getting to work on my project more as I think I have found some sources that will be really beneficial, so that is nice. I also like to read other's stories, so that is something I look forward to.As far as other classes, in my advertising capstone we had our client briefing. We will be working with QuikTrip this semester! I am really happy about that, since last semester the client was ONE Gas, which is a natural gas company. QuikTrip seems a lot more fun! I have two other courses, but they haven't really picked up yet, but I am sure that will change rather soon. 

Outside of school I have been busy with friends and work. One of my best friends lives in Oklahoma City and has an actual adult job, so we don't get to see each other as often as we like, but last week we had the chance to catch up at Sunday Gospel Brunch, which is a drag show brunch in OKC. My roommate and I have also been on an Oscar movie binge! We saw like 7 Oscar nominated movies last week. We have been taking these movies as seriously as we take our homework, so that has been fun!
